Dream Office Wish List

I’ve never really had the urge to own my own home before. I have always been happy moving around for work, renting new apartments every couple of years, or every few months. It may sound silly, but nowhere for me really feels like home. I love Ibiza of course, and I love being around family, but I don’t have one place that I go to, and feel settled. My life literally fits into a couple of suitcases and boxes, that squeeze nicely into my car, and I can pick up and take off wherever I want to. I feel now however, that it really is time soon for me to start setting down some roots.

I can sit on Pinterest for hours, and if you follow me, you can see I have boards for all kinds of things from Dream Home, to Bathroom inspo (thats a good one) to Home Details. One of my favourite’s is Office Space. For me, it really is important to have a nice environment to work from, and I think the day I do buy my own place, the first room I would put a lot of time into, would be my office. I love rooms that have a rustic feel, a mix of vintage but with a modern twist. I absolutely love being close to nature, and surrounding myself with house plants and jungle prints is just exactly how I envision my work place to be. I know that this is not everyone’s cup of tea, but I’m not a huge fan of white, marble surfaces and cold edges. I like warmth, and a touch of crazy.

I always get lost on websites like this one << great for finding bargains, and one that has me wishing I had more money to blow is made.com. Urban Outfitters is also dreamy.

One thing I never want to do is buy my office furniture from Ikea. Man, I love that place, but I want my office to be unique, filled with one off pieces. It would just feel more magic that way. And the office environment is where I foresee the creative juices flowing, the magic happening…

I never really do home posts, or wish lists for that matter. I enjoyed putting this post together, sifting through images on Pinterest and flicking through online stores dreaming of my future home. Is this something you guys do too? Do you enjoy reading posts like this? Let me know your thoughts.
