Pretty in Pink.
Pink
has never really been a colour I have loved, simply because I was told
“girl’s love pink” and I being the stubborn mule that I am, decided I did
not wish to like this colour. I enjoy being different, not following
the crowd. Nevertheless, I noticed that a selection of new skincare and
make-up treats I had been trialing all had one thing in common: Pink
Packaging.

Always one for a great photo opportunity, I bundled these
chaps together for this post. Enjoy.
chaps together for this post. Enjoy.
First up, Sjal Mineral Kalla. Heard of Sjal Skincare? Nah, me neither, but I do love the minimalist packaging, even if it is baby pink. What I find interesting about this brand is that they infuse their products with gemstones and minerals – they are all about increasing cellular energy, micro-circulation and clarity. I really do find this fascinating. I have been testing out their Energy Tonic, a toner to be used daily to help heal and protect the natural skin barrier. I really do love how this feels on the skin and it has become one of my go-to toners.
Also a toner, the Nuxe Gentle Toning Lotion is a treat to use, infused with rose petals, this is really gentle on both the face and the eyes. Fab if you have really sensitive eyes – this one is super soothing.
Aurelia is a brand that I have not had the chance to dabble much with, but I am seriously loving this Refine and Polish Miracle Balm – it makes my skin baby soft, come on, stroke me.
Considering a few years ago I used to slam Clinique skincare, I actually properly love it now. The latest edition to my growing stash is the Clinique Moisture Surge Melting Mask Balm. Packaging is on point, as usual, and the texture and feel of this product is just beautiful. I adore using this, and probably use it more often than I need to – I just love how it makes my skin feel. It is especially perfect for this time of year when your skin needs some extra TLC.
Last but not least is one for brightening the skin, I love a good highlighter I do. The Temple Spa Look on the Bright Side Instant Radiance Booster is ruddy gorgeous, and full of skincare benefits too. I really like to wear this when I am attempting to rock a no make-up day.
Now… to write up my next post, a Christmas Wish List. How on earth are we already half way through November guys?
