Shower, shower, showerrrr time.
So you wanna take a shower with me do you? Well, take a look around and make yourself at home.
When the old legs need some attention, aka hair maintenance, I will slather on my Veet Natural Inspirations Hair Removal Cream and stand around in the nuddy pants for about 5-10 minutes whilst it works it’s hair removal magic. I really like this cream as it has a nice fragrance to it, which makes a change from the usual clinical stench of hair removal products. It is really easy to use and eliminates the hassle of shaving. I simply step into the shower and it comes away, leaving my legs super smooth, and moisturised thanks to key ingredient shea butter.
I then wash my hair and at the moment I am using a smashing shampoo and conditioner, the Dove Oxygen Moisture collection. My hair can sometimes be a bit flat and lifeless, a bit “bleurgh”, so I decided to give these a go. Using Oxyfusion Technology it instantly adds bounce and volume, how clever is that? It has a very fresh, uber clean fragrance which I love and makes my hair feel all kinds of awesome.
Most days I worry about not having enough time to moisturise after my shower, so I tend to use my Nuxe Prodigieux Shower Oil as not only does it carry the most gorgeous fragrance but it leaves my legs nice and soft meaning I do not need to then lather on any body lotion.
Once or twice a week I will also use my Infused Coffee Body Scrub. I love this stuff as it smells exactly like Bourneville chocolate, and is packed with coconut oil too. Coffee is great for stimulating circulation and apparently helps tackle areas of cellulite. I will report back on whether this actually has any truth to it. They do a Mint Coffee Body scrub too which I think I will have to try next.
The last step for me is my face, and I have recently been using my Clarisonic again along with my favourite Antipodes Gel Cleanser. I forgot just how soft my skin feels after using my Clarisonic, out of every facial tool I have tried, this is better than them all.
What is your shower routine like? Do you spend more than half an hour contemplating life, only realising when the water runs cold just how long you have been stood there for? No? Just me then.
