Rimmel London Wonder’full Wake Me Up Mascara | Video Plus Behind The Scenes #WakeUpWithRimmel
I am so excited to sit down and write this post. I have some
awesome news to share with you guys! Last month, I was invited down to London,
to film a video with the one and only Rimmel London. I was so incredibly
nervous and overwhelmed by this opportunity, none of which would be possible
without this blog of mine (and YouTube channel). So before I waffle on, I would
just like to thank YOU guys for always supporting me and reading my blog, as
without you, this would not have happened to me.

So, on the day, it was all hush, hush. I could not talk
about what I was filming at the time, which was so hard by the way, but now I
can happily reveal Rimmel London have launched an amazing, brand new mascara
called Wonder’full Wake Me Up mascara. The Wake Me Up mascara, has a precision brush and has been specially formulated to
energise and wake up your eyes, containing vitamins and cucumber extract. Not
only will you look awake, but your lashes will feel awake too. No clumping,
just eye opening definition and a lift from root to tip. Kate Moss bagged the
TV commercial I am afraid, I was just too busy so I had to turn it down – he he
he – I joke, I joke. But yes, the supermodel herself is the ambassador for this
mascara, how cool!

I for one always struggle waking up, this time of year especially because hay fever ruins my eyes every morning, so to find a mascara
that helps to freshen you up is just brilliant.

The location for the video was a beautiful Georgian style
house in London, I could have spent the entire day exploring all of the rooms. However, I
spent most of the day in bed as you can see from the photos above. The idea of
the video was to demonstrate how this mascara fits into your morning wake-up
routine. Rolling around in bed may sound fun, but I was surrounded by cameras
and lights being continuously directed. I definitely need to work on my acting
skills that is for sure. I get incredibly nervous filming for my own channel,
in a room by myself, never mind a room full of people. I am so proud of myself for doing this though, as it was so far out of my comfort zone and I may have never gotten the opportunity again had I turned it down.

The gang from Catch Digital, team Rimmel London and the
filming crew were absolutely wonderful to work with and looked after me all day
long. I had the best time getting all of the shots for the video and now I am
so excited to share the full video with you guys. I watched it for the first
time this morning and I cannot believe that I actually did this. It doesn’t feel real, you know?
