The Body Shop are launching a brand new range of bath and body products, the Fuji Green Tea collection*. If like me, you enjoy a weekly evening pamper session and love anything and everything that imitates that spa like experience, you are going to adore these new products.
Before I get stuck in to the products that are available, let’s discuss the fragrance. I can honestly say, I don’t own a fresher scent. The Green Tea infusion smells absolutely delightful, it is beautifully uplifting, light and airy. I found the aroma to instill a sense of calm, which is exactly what I require when winding down of an evening.
Now, about this Green Tea stuff. I drink at least 2-3 cups of Green Tea a day, not one for the classic British Builder’s milky tea. It is so good for you, packed full of antioxidants that help your body inside and out. The Green Tea leaves that have been used in the Fuji Green Tea collection have actually been hand picked from the actual Mount Fuji region in Japan, which I find fascinating. I had no idea Japanese women have been bathing and applying Green Tea to their skin for years, which only makes sense seeing as it is so good for you to drink it. It apparently helps to tighten pores as well as retain moisture in the skin
I have been using the Fuji Green Tea Bath Tea along with the Infuser, which are my favourite products in the range. I just love the idea of infusing the bath salts into the water, as you would the way you drink green tea. Obviously, don’t go drinking your bath water folks. The Bath Tea has a very light aroma, nothing too overpowering and feels very soothing on the skin as you lay in the tub.
The Body Scrub is a jelly formula, so it feels very hydrating as well as giving you a gentle exfoliation. Used in conjunction with the Fuji Green Tea Body butter your skin will be as smooth as smooth can be. I tend to forget to use a body moisturiser, which is awfully lazy of me, but having stuck to using this regularly I can really see and feel a difference in my skin. The fragrance, as I find with all of The Body Shop body butters, remains on  your skin all day and even my bedding carries the fragrance now.
Also in the range are a Body Sorbet, Lotion, Shower Gel and Cologne. These will be available to buy online and in stores from April 7th. I will be first in line picking up another body butter as I can see this being a staple for Summer.
