I have recently been testing out some new skincare additions, all of which fall under the “natural” category. I much prefer using organic and natural products where I can, as I believe it is so much better for your skin, inside and out.
A little about my skin type at the moment, due to having dehydrated skin I suffer from an oily t-zone and dry areas around my eyes, and I also find foundation sometimes sticks to invisible dry patches. I do get the odd blemish here and there and I at the ripe age of 25, 26 next month folks, I am very conscious of fine lines.
I have been loving the new Origins Original Skin serum, a product specifically formulated for those of us in our twenties. Most brands target either teenage spot prone skin and then woosh straight into tackling wrinkles, nothing really hits that in between stage. This one I find is perfect for helping restore that “glow” to my dull, tired skin and also blurs any imperfections that I tend to get during hormonal break outs. My skin has definitely felt softer since using this, and I also love the fact it feels so fresh and cooling on application.
A brand I have loved since the beginning of time, sent me their brand new serum to try. Say hello to the Nude Skincare ProGenius Treatment Milk. If you are as big as fan of the Treatment Oil, then you will sure as hell love the serum that goes hand in hand with the facial oil. It is such a delicate formula, and smells incredible. Jam packed with nothing but goodness, ingredients such as pomegranate and chia seeds, you know that your skin is going to absolutely thrive using this serum. I have been using this for over a fortnight and have already seen a difference.
A new moisturiser, the Organic Surge Ultra Light Oil Control Lotion has been a god send when my skin has decided to create havoc. Some mornings I wake up, and I can just tell that I am going to have an “oily” day. To prepare myself for this I reach for this lightweight moisturiser which helps to keep the excess oil at bay. I love the fact it just soaks straight into the skin and doesn’t leave any residue, leaving a lovely matte finish to apply my make-up to.
