Ok so, being totally honest, as I always am with you lovely lot, I have found Rodial to be a brand that is quite hit and miss. I raved about the Super Acids skincare collection which you can read here, and loved the Glam Lip balms, but then I absolutely hated the Glam Skin Tinted Moisturisers.
Funny isn’t it?
Today I am going to show you some make-up from Rodial, that got the thumbs up,  a hit all the way. First up is the Instaglam Compact Deluxe Illuminating Powder*. Now, are you sat down, because when you hear the price you may need to be seated. This happens to be the only negative, the fact you will have to part with fifty two pounds of you hard earned pennies to purchase this. Completely ridiculous. Yet, when you look at the packaging, which is just gorgeous, you begin to get your breathe back. The universal champagne tone, when lightly applied over areas you wish to accentuate, gives your skin that perfect candle-lit glow. I like to use this on my cheekbones and down the bridge of my nose.
The second contender in today’s show, is the Glamolash Mascara XXL* in black. This is seriously pigmented and makes my invisible eye lashes come alive. I really like the wand as it is great for giving definition and volume at the same time. I usually find “black black” mascaras wear off or lose their oomph during the day, but this one doesn’t. It is one of my go to mascaras right now, and that says a lot. Oh, and don’t worry about it drying your lashes out, it contains beeswax which is designed to condition and protect your flutter.
Last but not least, the Instaglam Magic Pen Corrector.* Here is a little story, on opening this I was expecting a YSL Touche Eclat pen, you know, the click click pump action. Then I realised it was a pencil, and I got all, oh, is this it? Disheartened I tried it out, and instantly felt guilty for judging the magic pen. This is great for on the go touch ups and does a fabulous job of hiding dark circles and blemishes. I love the fact you can use it for highlighting, during the whole contouring process, and it feels like you are drawing on your face. It really does lift and brighten your skin. My favourite of the three to try.
