With Autumn well and truly on our doorstep I have been on the hunt for a new perfume, and having raided my stash, bored of my offerings I was eager for a new shiny bottle. I mean, you can’t just change the clothes to match the season, the fragrance wardrobe just has to follow suit, no?
So when the Valentina Assoluto Eau de Parfum Intense* arrived on my desk, I was very, very excited to try it out. Simply, stunning packaging, I cannot get enough of the flower emblem adorning the rounded glass bottle. However, in comparison to it’s predecessor Valentina Acqua Floreale (review here), this time the fragrance is much more grown up, more seductive, which I believe the new packaging reflects perfectly. The glass is an opalescent brown with ambery reflections, whilst the neck of the bottle is a luxurious rose gold. It feels much more mysterious, more suited to the darker, colder evenings drawing in.

Valentina Assoluto* stands for the modern woman who knows how to play with her sensual aura. Everything about this fragrance oozes empowerment and intense femininity.
White truffle and peach play on the top notes, whilst vanilla and a white flower bouquet are right in the heart of this perfume. My favourite base notes; cedarwood, oak and patchouli rest deep in your skin. I find I am always drawn to woody, earthy scents with only a touch of floral and fruit.
What perfume will you be wearing this Autumn?
