Okay folks, life kinda took over my blog once again, so I am having to play catch up. Bare with me, and brace yourself for a week full of double daily doses. First up, let me talk to you about the AX Paris AW14 Press Event I went to last weekend in Manchester. Wow, how time flies, how has a week gone by already?
I have never before attended a fashion event, as you all know, I am a beauty blogger, one too scared to face the realms of fashion blogging (maybe a cheeky post or two a month in the near future, whadda ya think?). Anyway, the beautiful girly that is Kayleigh, from Couture Girl, kindly invited me knowing that I frequent in Manchester regularly, with it not being too far from my home town. Kayleigh, if you read this, it was an absolute pleasure to meet you in “real life” finally and you are just as sweet and kind as I knew you would be. 
Nervous to attend alone, I dragged my little sister Amy with me and met up with my friend Lydia – who has the most amazing fashion and fitness blog – and off we strolled to the Black Dog Ballroom in Manchester. 
I must admit, I did spot the pizza, burgers and fries table first. What can I say, I love chips guys! The entire room looking stunning, with each collection displayed beautifully. The fur coat above is by far my favourite piece and I definitely plan to get my hands on it this season. 
AX Paris are certainly ready for party season, the room was full of embellished dresses and skirts. Who can shy away from sequins? Now I know where to go when those Christmas party invitations start coming in – yes guys, Christmas will soon be upon us, embrace it already! 
Overall I had a fabulous day and it was so lovely to spend the day with Lydia and Amy. After the event we enjoyed a cocktail or two at Neighborhood in Spinningfields before heading separate ways on departure. Manchester, you were a pleasure as always..
