5 Blogs To Follow | New Discoveries

A beauty blogger recommends five different blogs to follow: Citron and Guavaberry, Class is Internal by Sonya Esman, Mama Watters, The Fresh Exchange Blog and Blue October
One of my favourite style of posts to read are Blog or Instagram Recommendations, so having recently discovered a few gems, I thought I would share the love with you guys today.
I
stumbled across this blog by accident really, I was drawn to a piece on
photography and editing, whilst browsing Bloglovin’ one lunchtime: read
Vanessa’s post here.
It was then I knew I would be hooked. Being a lover of photography
myself I adore Vanessa’s imagery, but that aside her writing style is
just ridiculously funny. I actually laugh out loud whilst reading her
blog and that is something special indeed.
Talking all things social network related one afternoon with my boss, I was shown Sonya Esman’s Instagram account. It was love at first double tap. This then led to an evening of stalking reading post after post. Just watch this Youtube video here and you will all of a sudden have the urge to high five me. It is very rare I feel an addiction toward something other than beauty, or Theo James (Four in Divergent movie), but that is what my new love affair with Class Is Internal has become. Utterly obsessed. The end.

Being a Pinterest obsessive, I spotted this On The Daily The Make-up Bag post and had to check out the rest of the blog.  Each photograph is stunning and obviously Pinterest perfect. The design of the blog is minimalist yet quirky all at once, with a mix of fashion, lifestyle, recipe and travel posts there is something for everyone here.

Yes I got excited about a cleaning post! Except this one is exciting and just had my name written all over it. As you know if you read my blog frequently, I am currently giving my lifestyle an overhaul, and this doesn’t only include natural beauty products and more vegetables in my fridge, but to also look at other items I use daily: Cleaning Products. I came across this post  cleaning the home on It’s The Little Things and Mama Watters, the person behind this blog, shares tips on using essential oils to make your own chemical free cleaning essentials. If cleaning does not excite you, do not fret, there are lots of life style and recipe posts with absolutely beautiful photography. I really do find myself drawn to photography first and foremost when discovering new blogs.

When one decides to throw out all her take away  menus and ditch the ready made meals, there is only so much pasta you can eat. Me and my fridge full of vegetables were not getting anywhere fast so I took to Twitter. I was pointed in the direction of Blue October and her Butternut Squash recipe. Read it and you will understand why I got excited. A super simple recipe but totally yummy and ingredients that I could actually manage. I have since made this twice and it is so tasty. There are lots of recipe posts on this blog and I keep going back to it to read more.

I am always on the look out for new blogs to read, so please do leave me any recommendations you are bursting to tell me in the comments.
