A Bundle of Beauty

Recently I have been trying out lots of new and exciting beauty treats, some I absolutely adore, and others will probably stay in my beauty cupboard collecting dust. Nevertheless, I got to thinking about the ones that really stood out to me over the past few weeks and I thought I would share these utter delights with you guys today.
Firstly, I would like to share with you my new Flamingo Candle, I know this doesn’t necessarily fall into the beauty category, but having only discovered this brand earlier this month I just had to share it with you as I cannot get enough of my Tropical Coconut Milk & Honey Classic Square Jar Candle. If you haven’t heard of Flamingo Candles, check out their website – they have so, so many amazing fragrances on offer and the fact they are organic and hand poured right here in Britain makes them even more awesome. I love finding British brands and will always try and support local brands where possible. I brought this home, and my boyfriend got a little over excited by its scent, and even licked it – yes it smelt that good. It now unfortunately resides on his desk, so I think I will have to buy another one for myself.

Leighton Denny Remove & Go Polish Remover

Okay, the Leighton Denny Remove & Go Polish remover, actually took me to whole entire new level of excitement, that I have not ever visited before. I know that sounds totally dramatic, but if you have not used this or heard of it, please, PLEASE, just trust me when I say that it is literally the best invention since the internet. One of the reasons I despise putting on nail varnish, is because the taking off process is just so monotonous, it drives me insane and I always miss a little bit, and almost always go through half a tube of toilet roll. Don’t even get me started on the time I spilt a bottle of nail varnish remover over my laptop. My point, this invention right here, you stick your fingers in a hole – now now, in this sponge, twist, and wa-lah! POOF. Nail varnish gone. Just like magic. Now they need to get inventing one of these to clean make-up brushes…. steal that idea and I will come after you.

Ballet Slippers, took my Essie Nail Colour virginity, now excuse my shockingly poor application for the purpose of this blog, I told you, I have little patience. When applied perfectly and neatly, this is absolutely gorgeous and I cannot thank Vivianna Make Up enough for introducing me to this beauty, amongst every other item she makes me lust after.. I digress. My point, Essie Nail Colours are remarkable and I must fast grow my collection. I urge you to leave me a list of must-have shades in my comment box!

The cult face mask of the moment. Glam Glow. I kindly received a miniature sample of the Glam Glow ThirstyMud Hydrating Treatment, and I regret using it, I really do. Why? As now NOTHING else will ever compare to this mask, and I need the full sized hero in my life immediately, my bank balance is wincing as I type. I left this on as an overnight treatment, and oh my giddy ant, may the lord strike me down if I am lying to you, but my skin REJOICED on waking. My dehydrated skin retreated to the shores and I danced with beautiful, glowing skin. I am dying to try the other masks now by Glam Glow, as I am sure I will not be disappointed.

Two fabulous hair products, the John Frieda Sheer Blonde Everlasting Blonde Deep Conditioner has been wonderful to use. My hair has been getting lighter and lighter over the Summer, whilst using this over a course of 4-5 weeks I can still say I am happy with my locks. For once, I actually love the colour my hair has faded out to and I swear it is down to regularly using this. My hair feels super soft and in the best condition it has been in in a while. As for the V05 Give me Texture Dry Texturising Spray, I bought this on a whim. I was bored of using my usual hair styling products and thought I would give this a try. It’s pretty radical stuff. I forget any product is even in my hair as it feels so lightweight yet turns my hair into this texturised, surfer-esque bombshell. The only downside being I get pretty carried away using this and no doubt will run out of it sooner than necessary.

So guys, this Bundle of Beauty post, is a little different to my usual product reviews. I hope you enjoyed reading and if this is something that you would like to see more of I would love to know!
