L’Occitane Summer Beauty Essentials | Introduction
A truck and a bundle of plant knowledge, 23 year old Olivier Baussan started out by distilling and selling rosemary essential oil. Provence market is where L’Occitane began. In 1976 an old soap factory was revived with the traditional art of Marseille soap making, and only a year later was their very first lavender harvest, which now holds iconic importance to the brand. Olivier then began world exploration to discover new ingredients and techniques. I imagine to be a very exciting and fulfilling journey! The first boutique opened in Paris, 1992, but now they have over 2000 stores all over the world – including here in the UK!
Thanks to L’Occitane and their high quality beauty products, I have everything I could possibly need for the Summer months! From Pre-Holiday prep, to Boarding the plane, to finally Basking on the Beach, they have got it covered.
I have already tried the Almond Tonic Body Oil, which I have become obsessed with! It really is beautiful. I will be putting this firming and resculpting oil to the test, so watch this space as I have a feeling the report back will be a good one. I am excited to try the Verbena Ice Gel for Legs & Feet, my tootsies always get hot and bothered in the warmer weather so this will be a fab product to try out! The Angelic Hydra Vital Face Mist has been sitting on my desk to keep me going through the day, but I cannot wait to pack this in my hand luggage, it will make a great inflight companion.
Have you tried L’Occitane before? What are your must-haves?
