Oh Illamasqua, you have done it again haven’t you?
J’adore the new Glamore Nude Lipstick Collection. With 7 stunning, versatile shades to choose from, there is a nude suitable for every complexion. Whether you have a cool, neutral or a warm skin tone, there will be a lipstick simply made for you.
If you are unsure what shade to choose, they have a pretty awesome guide to help you. It definitely came in handy whilst I was deciding which ones to try out, click here to see what I am talking about.
Illamasqua Head of Training, Daniel Busuttil, suggests matching the lipstick to the natural colour of your nail bed, as this will help you figure out what shade will be best suited to your lip colour and skin tone. This is so helpful if you cannot get to a local store or counter to try on the lipsticks for yourself.
I have been loving the new creamier, satin finish lipstick formula, a refreshing change to the drier, matte version of the original Illamasqua lipstck. I have really chapped, dry lips so to find a lipstick that I love is tricky business.

The first shade I chose has quickly become my new favourite lipstick. Say hello to Rosepout*love the name! I have cool undertones in my skin, so I knew this would work well for me. It is the most stunning neutral pinky brown colour and it is something that I could wear day or night. I regularly choose warmer lipsticks, as I have been scared to choose a pale nude in the past, frightened that it may wash me out further. Rosepout won me over. The colour pay off is remarkable, a great pigment as well as having a long lasting finish.

Next I chose a colour from neutral territory, this is more of a coral-nude. Take a look at Cherub* everybody. This has a balance of warm and cool tones, but with a pop of colour. I tend to wear colours like this on a regular basis, yet, there is still something so unique about this particular hue. Cherub really makes my eyes pop and warms up my face, which is never a bad thing – being forever see-through it is nice to have some colour helping me out.
These are available online and in-stores for £18.50. This is quite expensive for a lipstick, and I was surprised at the price, but I must admit, these lipsticks impressed me so much I am very much looking forward to purchasing more. Next on my list are Stalkers & Minx.
Have you guys tried these newbies yet?
