No7 Beautiful Skin Hot Cloth Cleanser | My Thoughts

No 7 Beautiful Skin Hot Cloth Cleanser
If I didn’t have my
head attached to my body, I would probably lose it. I am the definition of
forgetful. If my name was to ever appear in the English Oxford Dictionary –
highly unlikely, but hey come on, how cool what that be? There next to my name
would be a picture of a goldfish, chilling in it’s goldfish bowl.
My point, I was
travelling up to Leeds and totally forgot to pack my cleansers. Yes, plural. In
a state of panic and not wanting to spend a small fortune, the first thing that
popped into my head was this little fellow. I am very fond of Liz Earle, and
had heard that No7 had something very similar. Off to Boots I went, and picked
up this, Beautiful Skin Hot Cloth Cleanser for just £10. I figured this would do for AM/PM cleansing and with the
use of the hot cloth give me some gentle exfoliation. Happy days.
My thoughts? As I am
so used to using natural/organic skincare, to use something that had a little
list of chemicals stuck to the packaging – well it properly freaked me out.
Saying this, the texture of the cleanser felt lovely on my skin and melted my
make-up with ease. There was no overpowering fragrance and the pump applicator
made it really easy to use. I used the muslin cloth supplied with the pack, but
I would much prefer buying my own ones to use, just a personal preference.
After I removed all my make-up and splashed my face with some cold water, I was
surprised at just how soft my skin felt. My skin felt amazing. The skincare
snob in me was shocked.
This cleanser did not
strip my skin, irritate it or make it feel uncomfortable in anyway, and it did
not make me oiler or give me a breakout either. It states it is suitable for
all skin types, so if you find yourself on a budget then I would recommend this
one without a doubt.
If I am completely
honest, I would only buy this cleanser again if I was trying to be good with
money. I will always buy natural/organic skincare over drug store skincare
brands just because I feel it is better for my skin. There really is no
comparison, other than the ingredient list, between Liz Earle and No7 however,
both of these cleansers make my skin feel lovely.
What do you think of this cleanser?
