Valentina Acqua Floreale Eau De Toilette | Valentino for Women

Valentina Acqua Floreale Perfume

I really do love perfume shopping. Duty-free zones in airports are dangerous territory for me and my purse. I have been known in the past to nearly miss my flight due to getting trapped in a mist of fragrance.
Packaging as pretty as this, Valentina Acqua Floreale, is just too good to ignore. A beautiful rounded glass bottle, with a delicate white and ivory flower emblem. Even the box it comes in, is simply gorgeous. Every little bit of this perfume screams: simple elegance.
Released at the beginning of this year, this is a lighter, more floral take on the original Valentina perfume. A floral bouquet, composed of Sambac Jasmine, Bergamot and Alba Truffle, refreshed by a fruity touch, Orange Blossom and Wild Strawberries, enriched by a heart of Patchouli and Vanilla. Cedar and Amber provide a noble base note.

This is a really light, subtle perfume, one that I would wear during the day all year round. I don’t really have seasonal perfumes, if I like one, I tend to wear it regardless of what time of year it is. Nevertheless, for those who DO like to coordinate your scent-to-season, then this would fit in with Spring. On another note,  I absolutely adore the miniature size bottle I got free with this, as it is really handy to pop into my handbag if I want to freshen up at any point.

This perfume was featured in the October Issue of Vogue just gone, so it’s not just me that has fabulous taste…

You can pick this one up for around £50 for 50ml. What perfume are you loving right now?
