Hey Guys!
I had seen so much hype surround this product but never bought into it, as I have been quite happy with my usual Clinique High Impact Mascara. Even though I am a make-up artist, I get stuck into a rut with my own make-up bag and when I like something I tend to stick to it.
However, this month I bought the latest Elle magazine, the one featuring blond punk Miley Cyrus! I was so shocked to see her on the front cover of Elle but after reading the interview I saw a totally different side to the crazy Disney star. Celebrities aside, free with this issue was a travel size version of the Benefit mascara.
I was so, SO happy with the results. The first thing I noticed was how great the brush is. It is the perfect size and the way it has been designed really separates the lashes but at the same time you can really build the mascara up with no clumping.
You can see from my Before and After photographs the difference this mascara made, it has visibily volumised my lashes and curled them at the tip.I usually have to spend a while separating my lashes as they tend to stick together but the wand is so brilliant it separates them automatically.
As for staying power, this is one nightmare to get off. I must admit I was shocked when my usual eye make up remover struggled to remove this mascara. I was wearing a couple more layers than usual but even so, it goes to show this stuff does not want to budge.
This has fast become my go to mascara, I never thought I would fall in love with another one but this one is simply great. I definitely will be buying the full size which I believe retails at £28.
