My 100th Follower Milestone!!

 Hello Lovelies, 

As you may have seen me already Tweet, I finally reached my first milestone:  

100 Followers!! 

I have had my blog for around a year now, but honestly, it was only a few months ago that I felt like I could call myself a blogger. It took me quite some time to get into the swing of things, believe me.

 Looking back at some of my first posts I can see how far I have come, and I know I still have such a long way to go but reaching this milestone is a big achievement for me.

 Organisation and Zoe Newlove have never
been words to fall into the same sentence. If you are a close friend of
mine and reading this, you will know all to well, I fly away with the
fairies on a daily basis, I am always late – for everything, and would
forget my own head if it wasn’t screwed on. 

What
I am trying to say is, my blog has helped me in more ways than one, I
am a little more organised, photography skills have improved (thanks to my genius boyfriend and his “posh” camera) and I am
making new friends every day.

Blogging is so much more than posting a nice picture and writing a few words about it, it takes a lot of time, work and effort. I thought it would be a walk in the park, but I had to give myself a giant kick up the bum, to ensure I post regularly, take nice photos and to try and open up more to you all. Most importantly, to get involved more with the blogging community. At first when I started writing, I felt so lost as to what to post about and how to interact with other bloggers. I think I have the basics figured out now, but I learn more each day.  I love the blogging community we all share, and you guys make me feel so welcome. I cannot thank you enough for your support and encouragement.  

 

I have to thank Megan from Wonderful You here, because after chatting to her quite a lot over Twitter and emails, she actually gave me the confidence boost I needed to get stuck into beauty blogging.

This year I have to meet up with you Megan and give you a big hug for all your support.

 

So enough of me rambling, onto the fun part. I wanted to do a giveaway post at my first milestone but like I have mentioned, I am not the most organised fish in the pond. So I need your help. What prize would you like to receive from me?

I was thinking a beauty book? Some of you are aspiring make-up artists, or just love to play with make-up. There are so many books out there, but these are my favourite two. I would love to give one of you the opportunity to win these. What do you think?

Not only that, but I wanted to then give you the chance to have a 

personal skin care consultation 

& make-up lesson 

from me. Now I understand, some of my readers are not all based in the UK, so this may not work out, however I thought a Skype chat could over come this as I would be happy to teach over Skype. Just an idea. The price I would usually charge for this service is from £50 upwards (depending on what you wanted). 

I wanted to do something different, something more personal than just giving away a bath bomb or a selection of make-up, however if you would prefer a selection of goodies then please leave your ideas below!! I will put the Giveaway post up over the weekend. So get your thinking caps on kids.
