New Year’s Eve Party Look!!!

 HAPPY NEW YEAR GUYS!!!
I thought I would do a quick post to wish you guys all the best for 2013 and show you what make-up look I will be wearing this evening! You may have got your outfit/make-up/hair all planned, but if you need an idea on how to paint your face this evening then feel free to have a go at the look I have created here.
Just to let you know, I am using a lot of new products in this make-up look, and I have scheduled reviews to follow up in the New Year.
Enjoy 🙂

This is the make-up palette that I will be using for this party look. It is from one of M.A.C Cosmetics Holiday collections: Fabulousness 5 Warm eyes.

Prep the skin and leave it bare, we will do the base, lips, contour etc after the eye area has been finished. Fill in your brows (I used M.A.C Blonde pencil), apply an eye primer (I used M.AC Paint pot in Painterly), and then sweep the lightest shade along the brow bone.

Take the darkest plum shade and apply it to the centre of your lid with a flat brush. I then used a M.A.C 217 Blending brush to really blend out this colour just above the crease, covering the whole surface of my lids.

Take the gold and blend this above the crease, this is a really pretty colour and does a great job of softening the plum shade.

I absolutely adore M.A.C Cosmetics Metallic Pigments, these I got for Christmas and they are the Guilty Passionss 4 Sweetly Smokey Crushed Metallic Pigments.

I used a darker pigment in the outer crease, then a mid tone shade in the centre and the lightest pigment in the corner of my eye. I took these colour under the water line too.

I then added false eye lashes by Ardell, my favourite Demi wispies! Followed by a coating of black eye liner by MUA Cosmetics and my favourite mascara – Clinque High Impact Mascara in black.

For my base I used the following:

Illamasqua Matt Primer
Illamasqua Skin Base Foundation
Tom Ford Shade and Illuminate
M.A.C Power Blush
Karen Murrell Organic Lipstick in Natural

This dress my boyfriend bought me from Zara for my birthday but I still haven’t worn it so thought it would be the perfect dress to wear for New Years Eve. My necklace is one my mum bought me for Christmas from Urban Outfitters.
Hope you all liked this post and have a fab evening tonight whatever you do!!
See you next in 2013!!
