What was the best present you ever received as a child?
This is a tough one as I always got so many nice Christmas presents. I think my favourite has to be my first bike! It had white and pink stabilisers and a little bell. I remember coming down the stairs in the morning, in my little pyjama onesie, (at the age of 4 I was always ahead of the fashion trend), to find Santa had left my new, shiny bike right next to the Christmas tree.
I was so happy.
What’s at the top of your Christmas list this year?
Every year, I ask my mum to get me a selection box. I never really ask for presents, as long as I have a box of chocolates to open I am content. Although, between me and you if I get anything in a Jeffrey Campbell labelled box, in the shape of a shoe, size 5 specifically, I will dance around naked!
Do you have any funny Christmas traditions?
Not really a funny one, and not one that happens anymore, but when I was younger my Dad would run downstairs in a morning to check if Santa had been with the presents. Me, my sisters and my mum would wait at the top of the stairs until my Dad said it was ok to come down. We then had to go down in age order! So Mum, then me, then my two younger sisters. Every single year was the same, and we could not go down unless Dad had given us the all clear first.
When I have little ones, I think I will do the same, as it made Christmas morning that little bit more exciting and I have never forgotten it.
What are your 3 Christmas Party Beauty essentials?
I would have to say Nars Sheer Glow foundation, I always wear this foundation during Winter and would not be without this at a Christmas Party. I would then have to copy Georgia from GeorgiaOnMyMind where I found this TAG in the first place, and say Ardell Demi Wispie false eyelashes. I order these in bulk from America for my make-up kit and always steal a pair for a night out. Definitely essential number 2! My third and last essential would be a shimmery smokey eye. You can see here how I created a perfect Christmas Party Look.
What’s your favourite Christmas movie?
Without a shadow of a doubt The Holiday! Ok, so I watch this all year round but I love watching it at Christmas the most.
Are you a giver or receiver?
Well, well, well this is a little bit cheeky isn’t it. Strictly festively speaking of course, I am a giver. This may sound cheesy, but I much prefer the whole gift giving process. I love the time and thought that goes into a gift, then finding it and wrapping it in gorgeous wrapping paper and bows.
Who will you be kissing under the mistletoe this year?
My boyfriend, it’s our first Christmas together this year (sick bucket) and I am really excited. I will also give my puppy Leonard a cheeky smooch too!
I hope you enjoyed this TAG as much as I enjoyed writing it guys! I TAG each and everyone of you to join in and write your own! Let me know if you do as I would love to read them!
See you soon,
