Beautify My Hair.

I took this picture all by myself! I kinda like it!
The other half took this one…. advantages of having a photographer boyfriend!

Another post readers 🙂
This time, this one is dedicated to one of my favourite hair products – an absolute life essential!
The luxury, conditioning hair oil that is Kerastase Elixir Ultime is a must have for those of you who like to give your hair lots of TLC. If you don’t give your hair TLC, erm why on earth not?
I have bought the original gold bottle a few times, and went to once again repurchase it.
There was no gold bottle, instead there were a few other colours with exactly the same name. This confused me, until I had a closer look and realised they have brought out new ones for specific hair types. I have obviously been living under a rock?
The original gold Elixir, is for all hair types and the one I have picked, this lovely green bottle, is for damaged hair. My hair has been over styled, over bleached, coloured, burnt – basically wrecked over and over. So for the past 6 months, I have been really taking good care of it. No excessive blow drying, certainly no straightners, a good hair protectant and of course a hair oil!
I have neglected purchasing a hair oil for some time, but decided to treat myself to this glorious product. Wow, I am so glad I did.
This Elixir is different to the original as it also contains a lovely ingredient called Moringa Immortel. According to the Kerastase website, this ingredient is also known as the “Tree of Life”. It has to be a little bit good. It works by concentrating intense levels of vitamins and nutrients vital for restoring hair to its optimal condition. It still has the blend of four precious oils inlcuding Argan, Cameillia, Maize and
Pracaxi too! Argan oil is just AMAZING – if you did not know that already!

It feels a little lighter than the original oil, and my god does it smell delicious. I love oriental, woody smells, and this is just that but a little bit fresher. I love the fact it is scented. Herbal Essence shampoo followed by this bad boy, all of you will want to have a whiff!
As my hair is quite thick also, it can misbehave and get quite knotty. Since using this oil my hair has been much easier to handle and is just so glossy and soft.
It really is repairing my hair and I would definitely recommend it to fellow damaged hair peeps. I want to try the one for colour treated hair also so if I purchase I shall review for you all.
Awesome product. 39 euros, so £35. Worth every penny.

How to use it?
Before Shampoo – 1 pump – Precleanse to really nourish your hair – apply to brushed hair and massage gently, add a little water and work it into your hair. Rinse thoroughly and continue with your hair cleansing routine.
Pre blow dry – 2-3 pumps – Apply to mid lengths and ends of hair and blow dry as normal. Note this is not a heat protectant.
Finishing – Tiny little pump – Run your finger tips through the lengths of your hair, I like to concentrate on my ends and really smooth them out.
Retouch – Reapply through the day if you feel your hair is getting dry and needs some attention
Overnight Treatment / Intensive Nourishment – 2-3 pumps –  Apply to towel dried hair and leave in over night. Wake up to glossy, healthy hair.
If you have not used Kerastase products before, believe me when I say they are a little slice of heaven and literally saved my hair.

Hope you enjoyed this post. What hair oils do you guys like to use?
See you soon,
