Portfolio Update:

Model: Heather Samuels

Hey Guys,

I have super-neglected this blog as of late - I have been mega busy unfortunately! No excuses, I am back on track with my blog thaang so regular posts as per the norm from now on!

The photos above are from one of my most recent shoots. Natural light, natural make-up and big curly hair! I loved working with Heather, we have worked together before on a portfolio shoot back in the UK. Last time we played around with smokey eyes and red lips, so it was a nice change to do something completely different. As always, the photographer, Scott Ninness captured some beautiful images, overall, it was a very fun and successful day.

So up to now, I have been working in Mallorca for around 7 weeks. The sunshine is great, however, if I am being totally honest, I am dying to get back to the UK. I am seriously suffering from beauty shopping withdrawal symptoms

My kit needs to be replenished, and my own personal make-up bag... well its a mess. Chanel Vita Lumiere Aqua, YSL Shocking Mascara and the Rouge Pur Couture Glossy Lip Stains will be purchased. My Dermalogica skincare is running on empty too, why is it that everything runs out at once?

As soon as my two feet land on English ground I am heading straight to the shops. Once mission Beauty Splurge is complete, I then need to get myself down to my hair salon. This hair needs urgent attention. It has grown so much and the mink-esque colour has faded out to a blur of ginger, mousey brown and blonde. I need brightening up, my lifeless hair is boring me and a splash of white blonde will perk me right up again. I love getting my hair done, so I am quite excited to go back blonde.

What else have I been up to? I have managed to read quite a lot whilst I have been out here actually. I do love a good book. I recently finished The Host by Stephanie Myer (she wrote the Twilight books!) and then last week I finished The Hunger Games Part One. It was so so soooo good. I really want to get the rest of the trilogy! If you have read it you will understand my sudden urge to get some wilderness survival books too! Have any of you seen the film Hunger Games yet? I keep seeing reviews and hear it is brilliant! Definitely going to go and check it out for myself - that and Marvel Avengers, which I still haven't seen.

Nothing majorly exciting to report! My birthday is in a few days. Hitting the delightful age of 23... I do not like getting old. With that note I shall end this post! Short and sweet.

See you soon,
