| Sexy beach hair!!! Loose tousled waves and lots of texture. |

Hiiii.
As I was in Leeds over the weekend, I thought it would be nice to go and say hello to the girls I used to work with at SpaceNK, over in the Victoria Quarter. As always, I can never walk away from that store without making a small purchase - any excuse to whip out my SpaceNK ndulge loyalty card! I bought some make up (shock!) and I also picked up my favourite styling product... Bumble and Bumble Surf Spray. If, like me, you love texturised, messy hair with lots of volume, then this is the product for you. I have bought this product countless times as I adore it and best of all it is so, so easy to use! It even won the Best Texturiser in the InStyle Beauty Awards 2012 - see image above.
Who can use it? Everybody. Its great for those with naturally wavy hair or those with fine hair who want to give their hair some "oomph". In particular guys and dolls who love the "beach look" and want sexy, salty hair all year round.
How to use it: It can be applied to damp or dry hair. When applied to damp hair you can let it dry naturally or use a diffuser to blow dry it. I tend to use this when my hair is dry to add more texture and volume. First spray sections of your hair, (don't be afraid to spray into your root as this creates more volume) then tussle and ruffle your hair till you achieve a 'beachy' look you are happy with. Once happy, the less you touch it, the longer it will hold. It really is as simple as that.
As I was looking through my drawers this morning, I came across a sample of the Bb Texture cream. I remember this selling out like hot cakes when it first launched a few months ago at SpaceNK. I decided to try it out whilst styling my hair to see what all the fuss was about.
Bb Texture cream gives your hair a gritty, matted finish. Lots of hold. I recommend it for anyone who enjoys having the styled 'just got out of bed/been down to the beach/ undone' look.
How to use it: Apply to damp hair, (damp hair is essential when using this product!) use only a small amount to begin with. You can build it up if you want more texture, but it's easier to build up rather than applying too much product. Ruffle your hair, applying it to your roots for more volume. You can use a diffuser to stimulate this product when blow drying it. Simples.
I really love both of these products. I applied the texture cream to my damp hair then ruffled and scrunched it into messy waves, it did feel a bit "dirty" but its supposed to feel gritty, thats what gives it the matte texture. My hair is really thick so I could get away with applying a generous amount of this product, but you do only need small amounts - I just get carried away. I used an amount the size of a 10p coin. Once dry I sprayed the Surf spray over sections of my hair and ruffled it even more. Lots of volume and texture was created and I was very happy. It took no time at all and hardly any effort as these products do all the work for you. See final image above for the result.
See you soon,
