SAY NO TO FACEWIPES
Those of you out there (and you know who you are) who use face wipes or even worse…baby wipes to clean your face / remove make up. You sort of… kinda… really bug me! Arghhhh
Personally, I feel that nothing beats the feeling of freshly double cleansed skin in the evening. That’s right, you are supposed to cleanse twice before bedtime. For those who don’t- a big tut tut.
Face wipes should only be used to freshen up the skin during prep in a makeover.
NEVER,EVER EVER EVER to be used instead of using face wash!!
Too lazy? Not enough time you say? Well if you want “perfect” skin then MAKE TIME.
Your cleansing ritual is the first step to having skin to be proud of. Every girl would like the option to go out to the local shop foundation free, put those face wipes away and you will get there.
Cleansing your skin is vital for radiant, bright dewy complexions. Face wipes only remove impurities from the surface and have ZERO benefits to the skin. They don’t remove the grime and oils that can cause congestion or breakouts. Also I find the majority of brands are harsh and sometimes feel like they are burning, causing irritation to the skin.
Cleansing the skin can also moisturize and condition the skin at the same time.
The ideal way to clean your skin is to first pre- cleanse, either with a special pre cleanse solution such as Precleanse by Dermalogica (I will talk about Dermalogica and the products I specifically use and love at a later date, as it deserves a chapter of its own) or with a normal cleanser to get off that surface dirt. The first cleanse removes congestion, debris, sweat, oil etc. Cleanse a 2nd time to remove deeper dirt and oils; this is when the cleanser actually cleans your skin.

Rant over, please take my advice and ditch the wipes! Your skin will thank you for it sooner than you think!

My Skin was the Worst it ever looked when I used baby wipes and I couldnt understand why...then it dawned on me, THEY SUCK! hahaha x
